Chelsea Farley was hit by a car riding her bike at the intersection of Harmony Parkway and Harmony Park Drive today Friday Cotober 5th . She is currently at Childrens Hospital with serious injuries to her foot. She has quite a few face injuries as well but those should heal fine. CAT Scans and Ultra sounds were performed and there is no indicatation of head or internal injuries. Chelsea's parents were in Hawaii at the time of the accident and she was in the care of her Grandma at the time of the accident.
To show support of the Farley family we are asking that families in the neighborhood send a small gift, card, flowers or stuffed animal for Chelsea and the Farley Family.
Chelsea is 4 years old. (I Believe)
I will be collecting contributions and placing them in their home for their arrival home. If you would like to contribute please drop them off at my house by 4:00 pm Saturday October 6th so we can get them to the Farley's.
Please keep Chelsea, Andrea, Jeff and Logan (big brother) in your thoughts and prayers.

First, I want to let everyone know that Chelsea is doing remarkably. She is a little trooper. Her cast should come off on Monday, November 15th and we will know more then. However, she is now walking and trying to run to keep up with her brother. She's in a little pain from overdoing it, but that's to be expected.
Secondly, I want to say thank-you to everyone in the neighborhood for all their support and thoughts during this time. I knew I lived in a great neighborhood, but who knew how great! Thank you so much.
Thirdly, I will be trying to talk to the city to get something done about Harmony Parkway. I don't know what, but we don't need a more tragic accident to happen before a point is proven.
